Bongino Jeffrey Epstein Video to Prove ‘No One Was There But Him’

FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino vowed to reveal additional footage from the cell housing sexual predator and human trafficker Jeffrey Epstein around the time of his suicide, proving “no one was there but him.”

Epstein’s 2019 death in the Metropolitan Correctional Center in New York City was deemed a suicide, but there are widespread conspiracy theories that he was murdered because of his connections with high-profile celebrities and businesspeople.

Bongino’s remarks come after he and FBI Director Kash Patel faced criticism from the MAGA crowd for dismissing Epstein conspiracy claims during a joint interview on Fox News earlier this month.

Bongino was asked about the Epstein case during an interview with Fox & Friends on Thursday. What began as a careful statement saying that the investigation is never fully “closed” and that he was open to tips, he teased the release of film that would provide a “clear as day” conclusion on the subject.

He began: “I’m just telling you what we see in the file. I want to be crystal clear on this. I am not asking anyone to believe me, I’m telling you what is there and what isn’t. There is nothing in the file at this point on the Epstein case – and there will be a disclosure on this coming shortly. There is video that is something the public –”

“Video of him killing himself?” co-host Lawrence Jones pressed.

Bongino replied: “Not the actual act, but the entire MCC bay, there was only one camera, there were other – there is video and when you look at the video, and we will release it, we’re working on cleaning it up to make sure you have an enhanced – and we will give the original so you don’t think there are any shenanigans – you will see no one in there but him. There’s just nobody there.”

He continued: “I say to people of the time — if you have a tip, let us know — but there is no DNA, there’s no audio, there’s no fingerprints, there’s no suspects, there’s no accomplices, there’s no tips. There is nothing. If you have it, I’m happy to see it. There’s video clear as day, he’s the only person in there and only person coming out. You can see it.”

Last week, Patel and Bongino gave fresh details about Epstein’s August 2019 suicide while in custody awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges.

Reports at the time said Epstein was found unresponsive in his jail cell at the Metropolitan Correctional Center in New York City, hanging off the side of his cell’s bed with a bedsheet around his neck. After guards initiated CPR, Epstein was transported to New York Downtown Hospital, where he was pronounced dead later that evening.

The New York City medical examiner and the Justice Department Inspector General ruled that Epstein’s death was a suicide by hanging. After initially being suspicious, then-Attorney General William Barr said what happened was “a perfect storm of screw-ups” after both the FBI and Justice Department conducted their probes into Epstein’s death.

Epstein was a known associate of former President Bill Clinton, former MIT professor Noam Chomsky, and Prince Andrew, so immediately following his death, suspicions about the timing and circumstances surrounding it surfaced.

During an interview with Fox News’ Maria Bartiromo that aired on Sunday, both Patel and Bongino reaffirmed what the DOJ and FBI have previously said – Epstein died by his own hand.

“As someone who has worked as a public defender, as a prosecutor who’s been in that prison system, who’s been in the Metropolitan Detention Center, who’s been in segregated housing, you know a suicide when you see one, and that’s what that was,” Patel told Bartiromo, adding that people who disagree “have a right to their own opinion.”

Bongino added: “He killed himself. I’ve seen the whole file. He killed himself.”
